At United Martial Arts Academy Philadelphia, we understand the importance of setting your child up for success. Our classes are designed to promote growth, strength & confidence in your child. We develop skills that make them bully-proof without the need to resort to fighting but with the confidence to know they can defend themselves if they need to.

Our classes incorporate useful life skills, physical self-defense & mental and verbal self-defense. We tie it all together with character development. By utilizing this multi-layer approach, we guarantee that you will see a difference in your child as they progress through our classes!

Our program has been specifically designed to accommodate anyone, including those with no exercise experience at all! We seek to improve the lives of anyone interested in learning the art of self-defense. We offer personalized training for all ages including those 50 & over. If you never worked out before or want to get back in shape, we can help! We can also help you with eating healthier & making better food choices. We don’t believe in diets or starving ourselves. We believe in being strong & healthy no matter what age you are. Healthy & strong comes in all shapes, sizes & ages.

Lifting Barbell


We make keeping active with your kids easy. You can train right alongside your child or you can train in a different group if you just want that hour to focus on yourself.  We offer discounts for families or groups of friends that want to do something healthy & fun together.
